5 Tips For Quick And Easy Cleaning

Quick and easy Cleaning

Cleaning shouldn’t be something that you dread, and it shouldn’t take up a lot of your time, either, as let’s face it, there’s more to life than cleaning up spillages, mopping floors and vacuuming carpets. Follow these 5 tips to help make cleaning your home as easy as ABC, and as speedy as 123!

    1. Use bicarbonate of soda for a multitude of cleaning tasks:Bicarbonate of soda really is a wonder product that works on many stains, and helps to shift stubborn grease and grime, too. Use it in conjunction with lemon and vinegar to clean surfaces and stains, or simply mix it with water to make a paste that can be applied directly to affected areas. As soon as it dries, you can either wipe it up or vacuum it off and not only will the stain have disappeared, but any lingering offensive aromas will have dissipated, too.
    2. Eliminate limescale with vinegar:Limescale in bathrooms can be a nightmare to clean with ordinary off the shelf products, and often requires a lot of hard scrubbing and elbow grease. Spray tiles and faucets with a mixture of vinegar and hot water, and you’ll find that the limescale is much easier to shift. You can also soak showerheads overnight in a tightly tied bag filled with the solution, and then lightly scrub the limescale off the next day.
    3. A soft drink solution to a dirty toilet bowl:It may seem a little nonsensical, but rest assured that if you buy a cheap bottle of coca cola and pour it into the toilet overnight, you’ll wake up to a shiny, clean bowl after the first flush.
    4. Make your bathtub sparkle and smell fruity:It’s all too easy to indulge in a deep bath, let the water out once you’ve finished, and leave it at that. But over time, a layer of grime and slippery limescale can build up, and your next bath might not leave you feeling so clean. To get rid of grease and grime in your bathtub, cut a grapefruit in half and sprinkle it with salt, then scrub it over the surface. Once every inch has been scrubbed (you might need to use both halves of the grapefruit), rinse it down and get ready for a relaxing soak in your sparkling clean tub.
    5. Clean your microwave without barely lifting a finger:All you need to do to get rid of the myriad stains covering the interior of your microwave, is fill a bowl with water, vinegar and lemon juice, pop it into the microwave and heat it on high for a minute or two. This should enable you to easily and quickly wipe away the moist grime without the need for scrubbing.

Don’t let cleaning take over your life and use up all your free time. Use cheap, natural products to get rid of stains and remove dirt, and cut your cleaning time in half.
